http://www.firmalondon.com is a corporate website of an antique shop with some elements of an e-commerce application.
A corporate site based on Drupal CMS is nothing new but nevertheless Firmalondon.com appeared to be not just another Drupal-based project.
The process of development was split by the customer into several stages. Yep!corp received the design file in Photoshop format and some specific technical specs which were to be followed precisely. The design and layout of the whole site did not imply a straightforward and smooth application of Drupal for theme development. Due to the true originality and even some eccentricity of the design (which of course perfectly reflects the concept of this project) many elements required customized templates and sometimes Drupal had to be transformed and modified beyond recognition.
The highlight of the project was the development and customizing of the modules for the image gallery. The image gallery of Firmalondon.com was developed based on CCK ImageField and Lightbox2 modules, custom layered into the page template. The customer paid particular attention to the pixel perfect CSS and since there were no any strict time frames for this project, many tweaks and small adjustments followed the initial specification.
The customer was very happy with the end result when the project finally went live and submitted a bonus to Yep!corp coders as well favorable feedback and more projects in the future.
